As of yet no seminars for 2008 have been planned. If you have an interst in taking a course with Jason please contact us and let us know your interests or particular request for future seminars. If any seminars are planned for this year it will be posted here.

The Seminars

For each seminar, students are required to bring their own tools, paints, brushes and other supplies. A full list of necessary items shall be given upon registering for a seminar. Cutout, pattern and eyes will be provided.

Carving & Painting:

Each seminar involves carving and painting. Carving will be achieved using power tools but those wishing to use knives may do so. Instruction will cover areas of anatomy, pattern design, establishing form and character, feather layout, rolling and texturing .

Painting will be with acrylic paints. Discussion will include colour theory basics, surface preparation, base coating, establishing shadows & highlights, blending techniques, dry brushing and detailing.

Registration for Seminars

For each seminar a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space. The balance is due 30 days prior to the class. A full refund, except for the deposit, is available up to 14 days prior to the class. Jason Lucio Art reserves the right to cancel any class at which time a full refund including deposit will be given. Classes are limited to 10 students so book early.
